ROY HALL, DEFENDANT'S WITNESS
DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. SMITH
(P64,L16-17,P65,L2-25,P66,L1-25,P67,L1-7)

SMITH: "What is your name?"

HALL: "Roy Hall."

SMITH: ". . where do you reside, please?"

HALL: "Whitehouse, Texas."

SMITH: "And are you familiar with the Defendant in this case, Al Petty?"

HALL: "Yes."

SMITH: "And how do you know Mr. Petty?"

HALL: "Building contractor for his home and - - and worked in his home."

SMITH: "The one that was testified to during the trial here?"

HALL: "Yes."

SMITH: "That was going to be his home and studio?"

HALL: "Yes."

SMITH: "In Overton, Texas?"

HALL: "Yes."

COMMENT: FURTHER PROOF that the government's original charge that "Al Petty would abscond with the funds and flee the country" was a LIE?  The entire case was based on Lies and FABRICATIONS!

SMITH: "Would you like to address the Court in regard to Mr. Petty?"

HALL: "Yes, that will be fine.  I don't know if I can spend five minutes because I didn't have a lot of dealings with Al.  He was a very, very busy man, and HE LET US KNOW GOING IN THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO SPEND WITH US and he had a sister-in-law and another gentleman that we conversed with, and I MAY HAVE TALKED TO AL OUT THERE EIGHT OR TEN TIMES ON THE JOB.  He would come out and see how things was going and this and that.  And - - and sometimes he would write a check.

COMMENT: THIS IS WHAT AL PETTY WAS REFERRING TO WHEN HE TOLD HANNAH THAT THE LENGTH OF TESTIMONIES WOULD VARY, BUT "JUST-US" IS THE CRITERIA OF THIS COURT!

HALL cont.: He was - - DONE EVERYTHING HE EVER SAID HE WOULD DO, YOU KNOW.  HE PAID.  Any time we gave him a bill he generally wrote a check right then, you know, or one of the girls would write it and have it the next day or whatever, you know."

SMITH: "WAS HE ALWAYS TRUTHFUL AND HONEST IN HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU?"

HALL: "YES, SIR."

SMITH: "AND DO YOU FEEL THAT MR. PETTY IS THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT COULD BE A USEFUL MEMBER OF SOCIETY IF HE WERE ALLOWED TO COME BACK INTO THE FREE WORLD?"

HALL: "I DON'T SEE WHY HE COULDN'T.  HE - - I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY WORKED FOR A BETTER GUY, AS FAR AS TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS."

SMITH: "Pass the witness."

KENNER: "Briefly, Your Honor."

CROSS EXAMINATION BY KENNER

COMMENT: MORE SADISTIC ATTEMPTS BY KENNER TO DISCREDIT THE INTEGRITY OF AL PETTY!  WATCH IT BACKFIRE, AND TRUTH PREVAIL, FOR A CHANGE!

KENNER: "MR. HALL, YOU TESTIFIED AT TRIAL, DID YOU NOT?"

HALL: "Right, uh-huh."

KENNER: "And as I recall your testimony, MR. PETTY STILL OWES YOU MONEY ON THE HOUSE, IS THAT CORRECT?"

HALL: "YES, AND WE'D PROBABLY HAD A CHECK IF Y'ALL HADN'T FROZE HIS ASSETS."

COMMENT: "Although Kenner failed every time she attempted to show that Al Petty did not honor ALL of his contracts, she is STILL, one year later, attempting to cast a reflection on Al Petty's integrity.  Once again, she fails!

COMMENT: TOTALLY IGNORING THE TRUTH!  KENNER CONTINUES:

KENNER: "And you have a lien on the property?"

HALL: "Right, uh-huh."

KENNER: "And in fact you also invested in TeleCom2000, did you not?"

HALL: "Yes, ma'am."

KENNER: "And you had invested in multi level marketing type entities before, had you not?"

COMMENT: 1/2 TRUTH = FALSE AND MISLEADING STATEMENT!  TELECOM2000 WAS NOT MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING, AND KENNER KNEW IT FULL WELL!

HALL: "Right."

KENNER: "And you knew that they were risky investments, didn't you?

HALL: "That's true."

KENNER: "No further questions, Your Honor."

SMITH: "Nothing further, Your Honor."
