I read all of the information posted and it simply reafirms my belief that Al is innocent and a victim of our greedy government who has exercised for many years that they want  more and more control of our lives.

During the time of the trial, I personally drove from Dallas to Tyler on a daily basis with the expectation of being a witness for Al.  Only on the final day was I informed that I would not be called. I was not pleased at how the trial was going so I suggested to Mr. Smith that he pull out all the stops and let Al take the stand to testify on his own behalf.

Having met Al on several previous occasions and convinced that he possessed talents that were far beyond average, I felt that the people of the jury should have the ability to see of Al some of the things that I had witnessed. Even a display of his musical genius did not appear to me to be out of the question. I know he could have done a much better job of explaining the interworkings of a business that he created than anyone else.

However, the know it all attorney quickly shot down my suggestions stating that Al might hurt the case with his volatile attitude.  My way of thinking at the time was just the opposite.  When someone's life is at stake, no stone should have been left unturned. His response upset me so much I could no longer stay inside the court house.  I got in my car and drove back to Dallas for the last time sadden by the fact that I could predict that the verdict would not be a favorable one.

I was so confident of Mr. Petty's innocence that I charged over $1200 to an already over used credit card account and sent those funds to help pay for Al's defense. I may be wrong but from what I saw of JR Smith I would have much rather stayed with Race Horse Haynes. The many thousands of dollars that I had in Telecom2000 coupled with all of the credit card debt that I am now facing has driven me to the verge of filing bankruptcy.

Just today I got a letter from the constables office informing me that they will be coming after me for a judgement rendered against me regarding funds charged  to 3 credit cards that went into purchasing 21 Telecom2000 businesses. If we had simply been left alone for 6 more months, I could have paid off all of those debts with  money left over to make additional business purchases.

Through it all I am still a believer in Al Petty and find it a privilege to be called his friend.
Hi Al,

We spoke a time or two before my wife and I joined you,  but I was one of the people the crooks took my money and didn't tell you.  We have been praying for you for a long time and will continue to. There is so much that is evil in this world, but I believe that God is still in control even though it doesn't look like it. I know you  know that probably better then I.

I forgot the date in July that you were born, but I know that we were both born in July 1933.  I may be a few days older then you, but I'm sure not nearly as smart. My birthday was the 19th and today, the 20th, we have been married 52 years. The Lord has been wonderful to us. We just pray that He has a plan to get you out soon.

Anyway, have a good birthday, (as good as you can, where you are).

Much love, Dan and Barbara K.

I know that Al was and is, innocent of all the charges against him. I was
not able to attend the trial, nor even to have info.about it until this
website made it available. Until the trial, I was informed by conference
calls and contributed all I could to Al's defense. Immediately after, all
information flow ceased, but I gathered that an appeal was granted and to
be scheduled. What happened to that? That smells bad.

Prior to the trial, there was witness intimidation. What happened that
kept this under wraps?

We all kept quiet prior to the trial because of Al's respect for the law
and the justice which he expected. Now; I feel that we should, as a group,
appeal this Blatant corruption by federal employees to our elected,
officials, namely our 100 senators. With the geographic coverage enjoyed by Telecom 2000 members whose lives have been badly altered by these
disgraceful federal employees, we can have constituents contact every
one of our senators to demand justice. The proof of the theft of justice
and his very life, from Mr. Petty, is FULLY shown on this website and
every member owes it to him/ herself to fully express their outrage and
to demand a prompt review and release of Mr. Petty with return of all
of his belongings. A public apology is in order to Mr. Petty and to every
business owner damaged by this outrageous behavior.

I am very limited in time and financially, but will help in any way possible. My wife has had two strokes, days apart and has been unable to
communicate, or much of anything else for the last 14 months. She is at
home with me as her full time nurse and total care giver. She knows that
I am writing this and approves wholeheartedly.

Al, I was not able to attend your trial, but I feel good inside knowing that so many Telecom 2000 business owners were able to be there to support you when you needed us most.  It breaks my heart to see what the "Federal Judicial System" can do to the most well-meaning, intelligent and passionate individuals on this planet as yourself.  I believe that the Lord in all his foreknowledge gave you this incredible skill and ability to put together such a wonderful opportunity for people at all economic levels around the world, to truly experience a "paradigm shift" in their lives both spiritually and financially.

Al, I could go on and on with what I believe to be an abysmal travesty of justice committed against you.  It has truly "destroyed" any faith that I had in our "judicial system".  And to know that this could happen to any law-abiding U.S. citizen at any time, is disturbing in the least.  For these ladies that you hired and trusted AND paid VERY well, to have turned against you in this manner is truly revolting and repulsive.  As Jesus said....they will get their reward.  I don't wish evil or wrong to befall anyone, but just look what happened to Judge Hannah.  Here was a U.S. Court Judge who was responsible for what was occurring in his court room.  This man was responsible before Almighty God, The Constitution, and the U.S. Citizenry to ensure that "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth" through, as you said Al, evidence and testimony, would come out in this trial.  Instead, he allowed the trial to become a sham, a farce, a kangaroo court.  We are in a very sad state in this country today.

Al, I, along with many Telecom 2000 business owners, will continue to pray to God Almighty for true justice to ultimately prevail in your case, and for you to be set free from prison.  I will pray for your accusers and for those who have wronged you, that their hearts might convict them and that they would repent of their sins (lies, false truths, half-truths, misrepresentations) and will turn from their wicked ways, and do all that they can do to reverse your conviction and diligently work to have you set free.

Your brother in the Lord,

To the loyal members and fans of Al Petty and the Telecom2000 Network:

Now is the time for all good men and women to stand up and be counted.  If you have had even a passing interest in the case of Mr. Petty and TTN you are aware that he needs our help in the worst of ways.  Picture someone that you love in his position, what would you be willing to sacrifice to gain their freedom?

About 4 ½ years ago I made a 100 mile drive down to Tyler Tex from my home in Dallas to attend my first TTN gathering.  Those in attendance came from all parts of the country to meet and get to know a man unlike any other in the room.  Before that trip my only contact with Mr. Petty had been through several brief introductions on the conference calls; however, when I walked in the door of that crowded hotel room and mentioned my name he seemed to immediately know who I was and gave me the biggest hug you could imagine.  It put me at ease and made me feel that I belonged to a very special extended family.  Being only 1 of a handful of blacks in attendance it was even more special.  If you were there you could feel the electricity in the place as people introduced themselves and their Pro status.  Almost everyone there was already receiving checks in the mail on a timely basis just as I had.  I will go so far as to say, if the government had not gotten involved we would all be millionaires today.  In over 35 years of attending meetings and joining various groups never could I have made that statement until my association with TTN and Al Petty.  If you were there you heard him give a brilliant concert with Raggs Allen and another gentleman using a tool he created that could make the sound of every known instrument.  If that was not the sign of a genius he confirmed it for me when my wife and I attended a function about a year later here in Dallas where he was featured playing the steel guitar.  Personally I had never heard anything quite like it.  I believe a serious injustice has occurred here, considering the known evidence, his integrity, background and talents, an innocent man is now looking at spending the remaining years of his life behind bars unless we do our part.  It is not often that I will label a person with the tag of genius however after having met Mr. Petty and witnessing many of the rare talents he possesses, I am more impressed with all of the information regarding the trial that he has compiled from the confines of a prison cell with only the basic tools needed to complete the task, now that is a true genius.  Not many of you are in a worse financial state than I am, however last week I mailed in a $10 check when Jeanne made me aware of the small amount needed to get this action started.  Today I will be sending a second check and asking that you do the same.

I can remember back just a few years ago when I charged over  $1,000 to an over used credit card account and sent it in as I am sure many of you did to help pay attorney fees to an undeserving J.R. Smith.  This so called attorney would not take my advice when I suggested to him at the courthouse that he allow Al to testify on his own behalf.  (For his response, go to “Responses” on website and read my statement under RN.)  If you ever once had this dream, believe me when I say that 5, 10 or even 20 dollars more from all of us will go a long way to help a man who at one time was on his way to providing a very different future for every business owner who believed in his dream of creating a thousand millionaires.  If you can provide additional help it will be welcomed.

WAAAAA!!!!! HOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I knew we could do it! All we needed to do was to pull together. This same resolve will continue to add to Al Petty's fight. If he can muster his determination from the inside of prison, we can hold our ground and encourage him. God Bless everyone who contributed ---- and don't stop now!!!!!!

Thanks for meeting and beating our challenge!!!!

I met Al Petty when I was 21. Musically he inspired me, challenged me and taught me. I worked with him in the studio. He gave copies of these various albums to Leo Fender, his friend (Founder and Creator of Fender Guitars). Mr. Fender gave me the single greatest compliment of my life. Musicians I have met in Nashville when I mention the name of AL Petty, eyes get wide and they say something like "how do you know Al Petty?"

As I prepare to fly to Nashville in August to arrange and produce two albums I can't help but think of  his gift to me  and his willingness to sow  into my life  and my family.  Though we are not Telecom2000 people, Al is family to us and we believe in him.
